About the dawdlers bistro

As an ex-squaddie (one who has had the pleasure of serving in the ranks of the British Army) it must be said that I like my food. I like to cook food and I like to eat food. But what I really, really like is to cook and eat food outside, in the wilds, under the canopy of Mother Nature’s kitchen.

Although I’m no chef I do know one end of a mess tin from the other, and being the generous, kind hearted soul that I am, I thought I’d start a blog to share my ideas and recipes.
